UEA Model UN Society

UEA Model UN Society UEAMUN allows participants to take part in exhilarating debates and negotiations over exciting world issues.

Members can debate matters on the UN agenda, allowing them to improve their communication and negotiation skills while engaging in current affairs. Members will also have the opportunity to analyse the way the UN works and develop their own opinions and ideas for solutions to the world's biggest problems. There will also be many wild socials to let loose and get to know each other! Check out our website at ueamun.org

For the end of this semester MUN will be hosting its Russian Revolution Crisis

Delegates will play as different factions in Russian politics during the February and October Revolutions, with the aim to gain power and shape Russia in their image

Friday the 15th will be an optional session to introduce the topic and help with writing directives.

Bookable Room 6, 4:30-6:30pm

Over the weekend we will be in NEWSCI 0.01, 0.02 and 0.03 from 10:30am - 5:00pm

We are pleased to announce that our end of year summer ball will be taking place at the Assembly Houses located in the City center next to the Theater on Friday the 22nd of May. The evening will last from 6:30pm through to 10:30pm.

The menu of the evening shall be Pot's and shots allowing for a less rigid evening where you can pick what you want to eat whilst socialising with your friends. The choices can be found below. 

Savoury options:
Beer battered fish and chips 
House Chilli, rice, guacamole, sour cream, tortilla
Norfolk chipolatas, Colman's Mustard mash, Woodfordes gravy, crispy onions 
Boston baked beans, fried breadcrumbs
Butternut squash, leek risotto

Dessert Options:
Posh Eton Mess
Millionaire's shortbread mousse
Passion fruit posset

There will also be a station serving unlimited tea's and coffees.

Tickets will be £30 pounds each and you can purchase up to two each! If there are tickets left we will open them up to non members as well for £35 each next week.
