What a fabulous evening at Jarrolds Letheringsett! We were treated to truly inspiring talks from Sarah of Black Shuck and Caroline of Jarrolds.

Norfolk Accident Rescue Service (NARS) .medic22 – saving lives, one emergency at a time. 🚑💙

For over 50 years, NARS has been the charity that steps in when every second counts. From cardiac arrests and serious falls to road traffic collisions and seizures, their team of around 50 highly skilled volunteers; doctors, nurses, paramedics, and first responders, bring hospital-level care straight to the scene of 999 emergencies across Norfolk.

What makes them extraordinary?Every single clinician is a volunteer. They respond from their own homes, day and night, in NARS vehicles or their own cars, racing to those in need. With no government funding, they rely entirely on public donations and fundraising to keep their life-saving work going.

Last year alone, they attended over 2,000 emergency calls – a record-breaking year of service to their community.

One of the best ways to get steps in, go to a NETWALK! A beautiful afternoon spent at where we met up and did a short 30 minute walk around the grounds taking in the tranquil lakes, wildlife and nature.

There are lots of exciting plans for Billingford Lakes & Country Parks along with some family events that we recommend checking out!
