Directions Contact the organisation

Gardens for Wildlife - Norwich A community group based in the Lakenham area of Norwich interested in sharing knowledge and enjoyment in the wildlife in our gardens and green spaces.

We believe that there is very little in life more important than the environment we inhabit. As a result, several years ago, Gardens for Wildlife was created. We are a local initiative which operates in the area between Newmarket Road, Lakenham Way and between the inner and outer ring roads. We produce and distribute newsletters, about wildlife, gardens and our local area, free to all houses in this areas and welcome everyone to relevant talks and outings. Our newsletter can be found on our community website: www.townclose.org.uk

This is an absolutely wonderful chance to encourage wildlife to your garden!
Even if you leave just a small patch, you'll see a host of bugs, birds and wildflowers enjoying your garden!

Get ready to let it grow for 🌱

Plantlife's No Mow May campaign is back. Take action for nature by putting the lawnmower away and letting the wildflowers bloom 🌸

Even the smallest grassy patch can make a huge difference for our wildlife, including our bumblebees 🐝
