Some notifications deserve to be opened.
Lamentations 3:22-23 says God’s mercies are “new every morning” — not recycled, not carried over from yesterday, new. Which means whatever yesterday held, this morning came with a fresh delivery. You don’t have to earn it, chase it, or catch it before it expires. You just have to receive it.

Scroll through any headline today and it’s easy to believe hope has an expiry date. It doesn’t.
Lamentations 3:22-23 says God’s mercies are new every morning — not because life got easier, but because His character never changes. Romans 15:13 calls Him “the God of hope,” not the God of good moods or good news cycles. And Hebrews 6:19 says that hope is “an anchor for the soul, firm and secure” — something that holds when everything else is moving.
That’s the difference between hope and optimism. Optimism says things will probably work out. Biblical hope says God is faithful even when they don’t look like they will yet.
So no — hope isn’t cancelled. It’s not even on hold. If you need a reminder of that this week, come find us.

One called alongside to help. That’s the literal meaning of parakletos — the Greek word behind Comforter, Advocate, Helper. Not a force. Not a feeling. A Person, called to your side.
He was there before anything had shape: “The earth was formless and empty... and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.” (Genesis 1:2) Present before the mess was sorted, not after.
He was moving before Jesus even drew breath — filling Elizabeth with words she couldn’t have known on her own (Luke 1:41-45), preparing the way long before anyone had the faith to say it out loud.
And He’s still moving. Today. In you. “The Advocate, the Holy Spirit... will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have said to you.” (John 14:26) Advocate and Counselor. Helper and Strengthener. Comforter.
Called alongside. Never alone.
This week, try it: before the hard conversation, the hard decision, the 3am thoughts — one sentence. “Holy Spirit, I need You alongside me here.” That’s it. That’s the whole practice.

Here's a thought to carry into your day from Sunday's message:

Goodness and mercy "shall follow me" — but the original Hebrew is stronger than that. They're pursuing you. Tracking you down. Hot on your heels.

That's not a passive God. That's a God who chases.
