Community Café Volunteers
Could you spare a few hours to support your local community?

Hellesdon Parish Council is looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to join our welcoming Community Café team.

Whether you are looking to give something back to the community, meet new people, gain valuable experience, or simply make a difference locally, we would love to hear from you.

The role is flexible, and no previous catering or café experience is required. What matters most is a positive attitude, a willingness to help, and a commitment to providing a warm welcome to our café visitors.

Volunteers are required to hold a basic Food Hygiene Certificate. If you do not already have this qualification, don't worry. Hellesdon Parish Council will arrange and pay for the necessary training. The course is straightforward, can be completed online at your own pace, and takes only a short time to achieve.

By volunteering, you will become part of a friendly team that helps create an important community space for local residents.

If you are interested in finding out more, please contact us by email at [email protected] or call 01603 301751. Alternatively, feel free to visit us during our office opening hours, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.00pm.

Join us and help make our Community Café a welcoming place for everyone in Hellesdon.
