Who’s watching the England game later? ⚽

I’ve been running my Slimming World group this evening, and well done to everyone who came along and stayed focused on their goals before kick-off! 🙌

I’ve even got my England T-shirt on ready for the match…The funny thing is, it’s actually a child’s 11–12 years T-shirt! 😆

Now that’s a non-scale victory I’m happy to celebrate.

🏃‍♀️ I was listening to the latest Slimming World Podcast about strength training on my morning run around Whitlingham Country Park today and it really got me thinking…

When we think about being active, we often focus on burning calories. But strength training offers so much more.

It helps us maintain muscle, supports our metabolism, improves balance and mobility, and can help us stay stronger and more independent as we get older!!

That’s one of the reasons I make strength training a priority 2-3 times a week alongside my running and spinning. For me, it’s about investing in my future health, not just focusing on the scales.

At Slimming World, we’re all about building healthy habits that last a lifetime 💜
