We do this by teaming with other groups and individuals, by producing events, presenting research on exceptional established and emerging charities and building networks to support charitable giving and philanthropy. We were founded in 2007 and since then we have work

ed throughout Africa, India, South East Asia and the Middle East. Today, with over a decade's worth of research and experience informing our work, we are committed to strengthening the charitable sector through our Fiscal Sponsorship Programme. Our Fiscal Sponsorship Programme allows us to share the benefits of our charitable status, with organisations who are not constituted as a charity in the UK, but whose work and mission is closely related to our own. Prospero World is committed to strengthening the charitable sector, to sharing best practices and to empowering pioneers to champion the causes they care about most. Our Fiscal Sponsorship Program is aligned with the United Nation Sustainable Goal 17: Revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development and Target 17.1: Strengthen domestic resource mobilization, including through international support to developing countries, to improve domestic capacity for tax and other revenue collection.

Wild Arts comes to Provence

In aid of The Veerni Institute: supporting girls education in Rajasthan, India.

Prospero World was introduced to Wild Arts founder Orlando Jopling in 2025. Orlando explained that Wild Arts, which he founded in 2022, is a travelling opera company specialising in bespoke performances, usually staged in private homes and gardens. The programme devised for the summer was built around the theme of love. One thing led to another, and before we knew it, Wild Arts had been commissioned by Jacqueline De Chollet to perform Love Actually in Provence, at her lovely home just outside Gordes — one of the most picturesque villages in France. The idea was to celebrate and fundraise for the work of the Veerni Project (veerni.org), one of Prospero World's fiscal sponsees, and to give Luberon music-lovers a chance to experience some extraordinary British musical talent. Wild Arts (wildarts.org.uk) is a sustainable opera company that travels only by train; they arrived on Tuesday evening, having taken the Eurostar from London to Paris, then on to Avignon.

The Love Actually performance was a hilarious but sensitive gambol through some of the best-loved pieces in the operatic and musical repertoire, opening with the Prologue from Pagliacci and the opening scene of Rossini's La Cenerentola, before ranging from Gluck and Handel through to musical theatre favourites like "I Feel Pretty" and "On the Street Where You Live." The Cinderella-themed scenario written by Guido Martin-Brandis ended with the beautiful "Make Our Garden Grow" from Candide.

Singers Ellie Neate, Abbie Ward, William Morgan and Timothy Nelson, with Orlando Jopling on piano, were witty, giddy and wonderful . There was not a single snore from the audience (as I have frequently observed during ROH performances, especially the first act). The French audience had never heard Rossini sung in English, and had no objections whatsoever — in fact, they loved the whole experience. Seventy guests came, from as far as Prague and as close as Gordes. After the performance we were treated to a delicious supper, and we also managed to live-stream the music, so friends in the Istanbul, Reykjavik, London, Norwich and Padua were with us in spirit.

Veerni received many donations ensuring the continuation of secondary education for girls from villages in the Thar desert. We're extremely grateful to our loyal supporters and to newcomers who learned about the project that night.

The Glasshouse is a social enterprise that offers women in prison a second chance at life. It works in women’s prisons to provide horticultural training and paid employment as women prepare for release. The project began when one of the founders noticed abandoned greenhouses in a prison garden and saw their potential to become places of growth, dignity, and new beginnings.

The Glasshouse supplies indoor plants to London offices through installations, maintenance, and corporate gifting. Every plant is nurtured by women in prison who are gaining accredited training, work experience, and a clear pathway into stable employment.

In 2025, we were proud to support The Glasshouse to raise over £65,000 for its work, which continues to achieve a remarkable 0% reoffending rate. In May, programme participants joined the team and supporters at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, where The Glasshouse won its second Gold Medal. The Glasshouse Garden has since become a permanent installation at HMP Downview.

We are excited to continue supporting The Glasshouse as it grows its reach and offers more women the opportunity to rebuild their lives.

✨ The future is bright with Veerni ✨

We are very proud to support our adopted charity Veerni Project , an organisation transforming the lives of girls in rural Rajasthan through education, care, and opportunity.

Last year, Veerni supported 112 secondary-aged girls with education, healthcare, and a safe residential home — and every single girl passed her exams. Even more powerful is the growing demand: over 400 families applied for just 14 places, a clear sign of a cultural shift, with fathers actively seeking education for their daughters.

Now, the new Veerni Institute has opened its doors — the organisation’s first permanent home — expanding capacity to support up to 225 girls and ensuring many more can access the education they deserve.

From exam results to early-morning charity runs in Venice (yes, even in black tie trousers), Veerni’s story is one of resilience, belief, and quiet determination.

We’re excited to continue supporting Veerni as it grows, flourishes, and changes lives — one girl at a time. 💙

Charlotte Eagar and William Stirling came together through a shared love of storytelling — and a conviction that theatre, film and conversation can give asylum seekers and refugees a powerful platform to share their experiences and forge genuine human connection.

Their independent films explore storytelling, displacement, creativity and community through the voices of refugees and asylum seekers. A beautiful full circle moment for our Adopted Charity The Glasshouse Botanics .

Their beautiful gold award-winning garden at Chelsea Flower show last year has
found its permanent home at HMP Downview, a women's prison where it offers something rare: a space that contrasts with the prison environment, rich with sensory elements, a connection to nature, and the possibility of better outcomes for everyone who steps inside it.

We are so proud to support The Glasshouse and the extraordinary people behind this project.
