Our purpose is to protect individuals wherever justice, fairness, freedom, and truth are denied ✊🏿. We meet once a month and take actions such as writing � to prisoners of conscience, contacting MP’s, and participating in global � campaigns, as well as local marches and events. Norwich Amnesty's Write for Rights is taking place tomorrow (Saturday 14th December) at St Peter Mancroft Church in Norwich between 10:30am and 3:00pm. Amongst the cases that you can send cards and letters for is that of Professor Sebnem Korur Fincanci from Turkey, who has been jailed for calling for an investigation into chemical weapons.
If you are in the city tomorrow, do drop in to send a card or letter.

Oqba Hashad is an Egyptian who is currently in detention without trial because of his brother's political activism. His case is one of those featured in this year's Amnesty International Write for Rights campaign. Come along to St Peter Mancroft church in Norwich (opposite the Forum) on Saturday (14th December) between 10:30am and 3pm to write a card or letter to help to get Oqba released.

Amongst the cases that we'll be writing letters and sending cards for is Ana Da Silva Miguel from Angola. Do drop in to support the event if you can.
