🎂 🎉 HAPPY 15th BIRTHDAY TO ACE! 🎉 🎂

Today, we are officially celebrating a massive milestone... Action Community Enterprises CIC (ACE) is 15 years old! 🎂✨

For a decade and a half, we’ve been dedicated to building a better life through education and support. From helping school children and young people find their feet, to guiding adults into training and meaningful employment, it has been an incredible journey serving our communities across Norfolk and Suffolk.

None of this would have been possible without the vision of our incredible founder and CEO, Lou Gardiner. 15 years ago, Lou saw a need for a different kind of support - one rooted in compassion, practical skills, and unwavering belief in people's potential. Her dedication, leadership, and heart have shaped ACE into the thriving, supportive community it is today 💙

To our amazing staff, our brilliant learners, our local employer partners, and everyone who has supported us along the way: THANK YOU. You are all part of the ACE story 🙏

Huge congratulations to Lilly Barker, one of our Vocational Studies students, who was nominated in the College of West Anglia's Student of the Year Awards 🥳

At a dazzling ceremony at the weekend, attended by Lilly, her family, and Lee Masters and Danielle Lindoff from ACE, Lilly was proud to recieve a Runner Up award. Hayley, Lilly's mum told us "I'm so proud of Lilly - she's done amazing, with everyone's support she's grown so much [since being at ACE]" ❤️

Well done, Lilly - all your hard work really paid off. You're a total winner in our eyes and the team at ACE are so pleased to have been part of your amazing learning journey, and wish you every success for the future 😀

Our Mermadelica Kiosk in St George's Park (Great Yarmouth) is open all day today and tomorrow for the Out There Festival, serving hot/cold drinks and delicious snacks. The festival transforms the town's streets, parks, and waterfronts into a massive, vibrant arena for international circus and outdoor arts, with the vast majority of the shows completely free to attend.

Big thanks to a friend of ACE, Rachel Sillett, who kindly let us have a lovely little runner to use as a practice vehicle in our Motor Vehicle/Mechanics workshop, which has cleaned up a treat. We really appreciate the low cost involved, thank you!!

Congratulations to Joey, one of our recent students, who popped into ACE Rackheath last week to show off his new wheels after passing his driving test (with only one minor!! Amazing work!)

Come and enjoy the sunshine at the Suffolk Show on 27th/28th May!! Lou and Paul from ACE will be there, on the Mervyn Lambert Plant Ltd stand, located at 49 in the yellow section grid reference F6.

Mervyn Lambert have been supporting us in the delivery of our free Skills Bootcamps, which has helped in excess of fifty participants get a CSCS/CPCS card, enabling them to find work on the construction sector.

There is free parking on site and under 15s go free. Hope to see you there!!
