Hi everyone - Hi everyone - Just to let you all know - the next Dip will take place on Boxing Day 26th December 2026 and not Easter Sunday as previously mentioned - hope to see you in December.

Sorry to disappoint everyone, the predicted conditions for New Years Day is similar to today, so we have made the decision to postpone until Easter. I know it seems a long way off, but, one thing I can say for sure is that the sea is likely to be as cold, if not colder then! 🙂
We would love it if you could come along - This year we are trying to raise funds for a very special group, Norfolk Disabled Coast Riding for the Disabled - NCRDA provides amazing therapeutic support to 25 children and adults each week, with their amazing ponies.
I am going to amend this event details to Easter Sunday - please come along if you can?
Happy New Year everyone,
Thank you so much for your support as always,
Tonya

We finally delivered the New Year Wish to a very special family ❤
Charlene & Alan, live with their 4 children, Jayden, Tegan, Kye, Ollie.

In 2022 Charlene (Mum), was diagnosed with a benign brain tumour, which had to be removed as it was pressing on her brain stem. Unfortunately, Charlene had a stroke due to a complication with the surgery.
As a family they pulled together and she has slowly started making a recovery, however, at the end of 2023 Alan (Dad) was diagnosed with Head and Neck Cancer, after finding a lump his neck (Metastatic Squamous Cell Carcinoma), sadly the cancer spread to his Lymph Nodes). More recently, Alan has been showing signs of early onset Parkinsons.

Charlene said, "Despite the huge effect on the whole family, and after months of gruelling treatment 3 of out of 4 children decided to run Race for Life and raise money for Cancer Research to hopefully stop families suffering in the future. They selflessly fund raised, collected donations and held a tombola, and was named as top fundraisers collectively. They have pulled together and overcome so much I am so proud of their strength and determination".

Jayden he is 16 he has downs syndrome he had brain damage at birth so likes things a lot younger.
Tegan is 14 her dad being so poorly hit her the hardest as they are so close,
Kye is 11 he has Autism, ADHD and Tourette's
Ollie is 8 he has a visual impairment and dyspraxia

We visited the family on Friday January 31st to deliver their special treats for being such a brave family!
Firstly we gave Charlene some flowers.
Charlene/Mum said that it's like mission impossible finding somewhere suitable for the whole family, however, they all like Merlin Theme Parks, so
Thanks to all who took part in Boxing Day Dip, your funds raised will be giving this special family a two night break and fun at a Merlin Theme Park of their choice.
Mum and Dad are getting Tea for Two at the Assembly House in Norwich.
They have Love to Shop vouchers and Roarrr Vouchers too.

Charlene, Alan, Jayden, Tegan, Kye and Ollie, we are thinking about you all a special 2025 creating beautiful memories. We can't wait to see your pictures from your adventures. ❤
