Did you know that our Information Centre is open on Wednesdays throughout the summer between 10.30 and 12.30?
If you've ever walked past our black railings and wondered about the world behind it, now is your opportunity to come and ask our wonderful resident volunteers about it!
Drop in to learn more about who we are, what we do and the rich history of our unique site. Our Butterfly Garden and Church are also open during these hours, where you are welcome to sit for a while and take in our beautiful surroundings.
The entrance to the information centre is on Bishopgate, next to St. Helen's Church tower and close to the flagpole.
The information centre will next be open this Wednesday 18th August, 10.30-12.30.

People over 60 with a connection to Norwich can apply to live here now via our website (link in bio).

We are a charity that looks after a beautiful heritage site on Bishopgate so that people with a financial or wellbeing need can have their own front door in a safe haven amongst a like minded community. There's a video all about it on our website.

Not everyone knows about us so please do repost and share so that we can reach more people that could be needing our help.

Quite often people mistakenly think you have to have a lot of money to live here and it's quite the opposite. The Great Hospital was actually set up in 1249 to make sure it was only ever used to house people who need a bit of help.

The emphasis is on living independently for longer so lots of our residents are in their 60s and still working in the city. We also have people who have lived here for years. It makes for a very peaceful but vibrant sanctuary to retreat to.
