UPDATE - OWNER HAS BEEN FOUND

Please get in touch if you have list or know anyone who has lost a necklace and locket. We would like to reunite with the owner.

With the cold weather some of you can be put off from getting out there. It is OK not to be OK. When the weather is better look forward to a gentle stroll around the park. During term time it is quieter if you don't want to talk to anyone and there are plenty of chairs to sit and ponder your thoughts and watch the world go by and it's good to remember that nobody else has it all sorted even though it may look like they do. Keep safe, we are thinking of you.

Every Christmas the UK buys millions of FastTech items and by January they're often already broken.

Like fast fashion, FastTech like the light up reindeer or bargain fairy light are built to break.

Since last Christmas '24, we’ve thrown away 168 million FastTech gifts and light‑up items. And here’s the scary bit: the hidden batteries inside them can ignite dangerous fires when they’re crushed in bin or recycling lorries. Real fires. Real risks.

✋ Never bin FastTech with your household rubbish or recycling.
👍 Always recycle it separately at a proper battery or electrical recycling point. Find your nearest one here 👉 www.recycleyourelectricals.org.uk
