What's it really like to spend a week working behind the scenes with us? 🎨

Throughout June, we welcomed three work experience students into the Creative Arts East office, each spending a week discovering what goes on behind the scenes 🫣

One of those students was the wonderful Flik. With her passion for journalism, writing and photography, she captured her experience in a blog, sharing top-tips, what she learned and also a Q&A with the team 🤔

"At first, I thought everyone in the office would be very strict, and I would have to do my work alone in silence." ☕🍪

Read about what she had to say about her week at Creative Arts East here - https://www.creativeartseast.co.uk/news/one-week-at-cae/

We’re always delighted to welcome work experience students into our team, giving them the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the cultural sector and hearing their perspectives and insights 🙌 Thank you, Flik, for documenting your week so thoughtfully, and best of luck for the future!

Classical music… but not as you know it! 🎻

This lively and hugely entertaining string quartet that will turn your preconceptions of classical musicians upside down. With their spectacular mix of tune, blending upbeat classical favourites with film, pop and rock songs, Gypsy and Celtic foot-stompers and plenty of humour and charm along the way.
