Another Tuesday, another warm night feeding those who need it most. Our four lovely volunteers served close to 50 meals tonight. On the menu we had KFC, chips and beans, chicken pie with veg and gravy and BBQ pulled pork with buttered potatoes and sweetcorn salad. What a treat 😍

We also had a selection of yummy desserts and teas and coffees.

When you become a volunteer, you join a community 💚 🥰

Tonight's bunch gave us a hearty menu of sausage, veg and gravy. Sausage, chip and beans and pasta salad and garlic bread. Desserts were cakes, scones, mousse, cheesecake and bags of sweets 😋 Everyone who was there got a delicious meal and that's always the aim.

I’ve been meaning to write this for absolute weeks and I apologise for being so tardy! This is a massive shoutout to the wonderful 2 couples who have stepped down from volunteering with us after a staggering amount of support from them. Both Marie and Poppy and Keith and Jim have cooked, supported and cared for our guests since the beginning, always with a smile on their faces and kind words of encouragement and they will be hugely missed by everyone at TPP. Enjoy finally having some free time you beautiful people ###x

*FOOD BANK OPEN TODAY - SATURDAY 27TH JUNE* 9.15am to 10.15am

Norfolk Homeless Support Foodbank is full!

Walk in today, Saturday, at Door 2 on Northgate (NR6 5PJ, off Reepham Road)

Fruit, veg, bread, cakes, cereal, chilled foods available to all, but we do ask for a donation which goes straight to foodbank to keep our shelves topped up for food parcels.

Sorry for the radio silence but the social media lady is now back from having surgery so here's a little update from Tuesday night.

On the menu was a refreshing chicken caesar salad wrap with crisps, KFC chicken, chips and beans and a delicious cottage pie with sweetcorn. All meals were gratefully recieved and as were the extra drinks.

It was a long queue but everyone was fed and that's always the end goal 💚

♻️SAVE THE DATE♻️

How do you fancy supporting a huge, city wide litter pick on Sunday 20th September to coincide with World Cleanup Day 2026?

The hope is that many litter picking groups, Friends of groups, businesses and Norwich/Norfolk residents will get involved and arrange/join a litter pick in their part of Norwich on the same day. This should be eye opening and a have a positive impact for Norwich.

We are looking for a volunteer driver to pick up a weekly food donation from the city centre on a Sunday, late afternoon and drop off to our food donation area.

Sharing in collaboration with Norfolk Homeless Support

Walk in foodbank TODAY - 11.15 -1030 at Door 2, Northgate. Loads of flowers, bakery, chilled fruit and veg. Also baby formula and small happies. Anyone is welcome and everything is free, but we would ask you to make a donation to foodbank if you can.
