If you work or volunteer for a Norfolk charity, community group or social enterprise, join us for a free introduction to menopause with Diane Danzebrink.

Understanding menopause is important for everyone - not only those experiencing it, but also those who may experience it in the future and those who support others through it, both professionally and personally.

We are really thankful to Menopause Support and Diane for making this session possible.

Free health checks, a friendly chat and a cuppa are coming to a car park or community centre near you. The Be Well Bus is out and about over the next fortnight, and you don't need an appointment. Just pop on and say hello.

More than 100 organisations have completed our State of the Norfolk VCSE Sector Survey. 🙌

If you aren't one of them, do so soon - the survey closes at 5pm on Monday 14th September.

The results will shape our future support for local charities, community groups and social enterprises, including events and workshops.

If you work or volunteer for a local charity, community group or social enterprise, let us know what your challenges are and how we can help you.

Results will shape our support for local organisations, including future events and workshops.

Over 80 organisations have already had their say - join them before Monday 14th September when our survey closes. ⌛

🚌 We’re bringing the Be Well Bus to Alexandra Park in Ipswich, and there’ll be plenty happening throughout the afternoon. 👀

🩺 Fancy a quick health check?
Our SISSU health machine can give you a snapshot of your blood pressure, heart rate, BMI and body composition in just a few minutes.

And we’re joined by some amazing other organisations too…

💚 1–3pm – Feel Good Suffolk
Free support to help you stop smoking, manage your weight or get more physically active.

⚽ 3–5/6pm – Ipswich Town Foundation
Come and meet the team from ITFC Foundation and find out more about the fantastic work they do to improve health, skills and opportunities for communities across Suffolk.

What are you doing this Saturday?

Well, we have a few suggestions. The Cobholm Primary Academy field will come alive with an incredible programme prepared by our friends at Freshly Greated.

Come say hi to Eko the Sea Giant - a 13-foot-tall puppet 🌊!

And he won't be alone.

Young local musician will be filling the air with music🎶
bubbles floating through the sky 🫧.
There'll be workshops and activities to try 🤹‍♂️
and plenty of opportunities to simply spend time together 🤗.

Grab your whole family and join us on Saturday August 22 at 3:30pm outside the Premier on Mill Road, where Eko will kick off the event with a short parade heading towards Cobholm Primary School field.
