It was lovely meeting all the new parents of our September 26 Reception children!
We gifted each child a bag with their name on which can be used to keep their spare clothes and water proofs at school. The bag also contained some information on the friends, a be school ready guide from Parentkind and 5 name labels from Stikins Name Labels

The Friends of Sprowston Infant school want to say a massive well done to all the children today at sports day & thank you to all parents for buying from the bake sale we raised £100 for the school so thank you very much 😃🏅🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Our final update before we reach the finish line at the end of sports day.

SRB are moving along slowly trying to catch up to nursery who have stormed ahead.
It’s a tussle between Yr1 and Reception who will come 2nd?
But shot off in the lead is Yr 2

All could still change only the photo line finish will tell!

Here is our second week - mid week update!

Nursery have finally got off the start line closing in on SRB who have remained static - maybe it’s muscle cramp?! Let’s hope they make a swift recovery.
Reception have overtaken Year 2 but Year 1 are still in the lead!

It’s still an undetermined race, keep bringing in those pennies, the race will finish at the end of our whole school picnic on Friday!

Our first week results are in… streaking ahead is Year 1 with Yr 2 following up behind. Reception and SRB are closely matched but Nursery is yet to get off the starting line.
It’s still all to play for and things can change quickly! Tune back in later in the week to see how the race is progressing!

Ready… Set… GO!! This week was the start of our Penny races! Come back on Monday to see how your group is doing!
Get your children helping out around the house this weekend so they can earn some more pennies for their race!

DISCO this Thursday!

If there is any parents who are available to help out at either/both discos we would be really grateful!

We need someone to man the shop! There’s just a few of us on the Friends so we really do need some help!

All funds raised go back in to the school, creating lovely spaces for the children 🥰
