And thats a wrap for Southern Norwich District Beaver Camp 2026!

We had an amazing time celebrating Beavers' 40th Birthday at Eaton Vale this weekend!

After a busy day of activities yesterday, we started the day with a morning warm up with Matthew and our young leaders, as well as watching the replay of England's World Cup victory overnight. We then had our closing ceremony and Penny presented some Chief Scout Bronze Awards to some of our young people too!

A massive thank you to the District organising team for making this weekend possible, and thank you to all of our volunteers for bringing your young people along to join the party! We hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

District Beaver Birthday Camp - Day 1

Over 100 young people and volunteers have had a fantastic first day of our Southern Norwich Beavers 40th Birthday celebration!

From caving and go karts, to a Birthday party and campfire, we've done it all! The Beavers are now camping out for the night ahead of our closing ceremony tomorrow.

Lovely to also have a visit from our CLV this morning too! Shirley Sinclair Norfolk Scouts

We join the nation in mourning the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

We would like to thank her for her service to our country.

Our thoughts and condolences are with the Royal Family.

We’re deeply saddened by the death of Our Patron, HM The Queen. A dedicated supporter of Scouts, Her Majesty has been a peerless role model for our young people.

Leading weekly activities and programmes for young people isn’t for everyone. The good news is we have a small army of volunteers who plan, run the finances, complete important paperwork etc

These are often our trustees, working quietly in the background. Some of our Scout Groups need more trustees, if you fancy finding out more DM us today
