Norfolk Campaign Against Climate Change

The Campaign Against Climate Change Trade Union Group has produced a new suggested motion for people to bring to their branches, to gain support for the Year of Action and in particular to the workplace day of action on Friday 14th November and the international day of climate mobilisations on Saturday 15th November. It also prompts branches to affiliate to CACCTU if they have not already.

This branch notes - that as global temperatures rise, extreme weather events are multiplying, including heatwaves, drought and flooding, with the worst impacts on those who have done least to cause the crisis - that a rapid transition away from fossil fuels is needed to prevent catastrophic climate....

We, at the UK Energy Research Centre’s Public Engagement Observatory (UEA), are conducting research on the many different ways through which people in Norwich and the surrounding areas engage with energy and climate change.
