Only a couple of weeks now until 4 members of East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust take part in our big Skydive.🪂

To celebrate the start of the fabulous National Health Service, these amazing people will leap from a plan to raise funds to support patient and staff wellbeing activities across the region.😍

They are all very nearly at their targets and would love your help to push them over the line! Thank you.💛

To celebrate the anniversary of our beloved NHS on Sunday 5th July, staff from Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust will be taking part in a tandem skydive!

We had a fabulous afternoon in the sun yesterday at East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust open day of the newly located Pine Cottage.☀️

It was lovely to meet ex-patients and visitors who were invited to come and see the new facilities. It was an opportunity to say thank you to some of our funders, including Stephen who has facilitated over £2,000 of donations to the fund.

These donations have already funded a television, artwork and physio therapy equipment for the day room which provides a wonderful space to engage with therapy and socialise with other patients - getting ready to go home safely.

Huge thank you to Lorraine, Emily and the team who organised the event and raised a cool £162 from their charity tombola. 👏

We are very excited to be working with Norfolk-based Cuddly Cavies. 🐹

Our first booking for a therapeutic guinea-pig visit for East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust will take place next week, focusing on cognitive, sensory, fine motor skills & emotional engagement. 💛

We just dropped off a delivery of equipment to support patient and staff wellbeing at Priscilla Bacon Lodge, for our physio team to use.

Fortuitously, it coincides with East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust Festival, and was great to see funded items being used in this space set up for staff... 🧘‍♀️

Work began today on the enhancement of a waiting area at Norwich Community Hospital at East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust into a low sensory room.😍

This dedicated space will feature calming colours, textures, soundproofing, privacy and sensory aids for neurodivergent patients, and anyone who has a mental health need that would benefit from a tailored environment.

Generously funded by The Morrisons Foundation - we look forward to sharing the final result!

We are very grateful to some fantastic local businesses: Aviva NielsenIQ Crown Commercial Services, Social Value Portal, who provide many employee volunteering hours to East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust registered charity.

Without them we wouldn’t be able to maintain our gardens to the standard that we do for patients and staff to enjoy during their hospital stay. 🌱
