A big thank you to colleagues from Aviva who spent the day volunteering at Caroline House, Colman Hospital.

The team worked hard tidying and maintaining patient gardens, helping to keep these outdoor spaces welcoming and enjoyable for patients, visitors and staff.

We’re grateful for their support as part of Aviva’s employee volunteering programme.

Today is International Youth Day 💛

NCH&C Charitable Fund provides resources and equipment that enhance the care and wellbeing of children and young people at East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust.

As one parent shared about an Acheeva Bed funded for Mill Close:

"Having this piece of equipment means she can take much needed time out of her wheelchair to give her body and bones a much needed rest and a change of position, whilst still being involved with other young people and staff."

We're also exploring projects focused on patient dignity and essential items, as well as creating a welcoming reception area wall display that help reduce anxiety for young patients.

We popped over to North Walsham Hospital on Friday for a Charity Chatter and donkey wellbeing session 🫏

It was great to meet so many colleagues and discuss how NCH&C Charitable Fund can continue to support staff wellbeing and enhance patient care in North Walsham.

Did you know...?

One of the ways NCH&C Charitable Fund supports patient care is by funding equipment that goes above and beyond standard NHS provision.

Earlier this year, we secured funding for a Motomed exercise machine at Ogden Court Community Hospital, supporting patients during rehabilitation.

One patient shared:

"The Motomed has helped me improve my leg strength and has allowed me to progress to walking again."

The physiotherapy team have reported improved outcomes for patients using the equipment, demonstrating the positive difference specialist rehabilitation equipment can make to recovery. 💛
