🏡 Norwich Unity Hub are looking for an experienced self-employed gardener to help us care for the beautiful Grade II listed gardens at Carrow House this summer!

We're hoping for someone with knowledge of heritage gardens who can work alongside a small team of volunteers. It's a fantastic opportunity to be part of something special in the heart of the community.

Approx. 10 - 15 hours per week for 3 months.

With the gardens now in full bloom, Norwich Unity Hub caretaker Mick has been making the most of it by bringing the outside in 🌸
He’s been picking fresh flowers and creating his own arrangements for our reception spaces and it turns out he’s pretty talented at it too.
It’s these thoughtful little touches that make such a big difference to the experience we all have at Carrow House.

We’re raising funds to install a special illuminated support bench, a place that could make a real difference when someone needs it most.
These benches aren’t just somewhere to sit. They are visible beacons of hope, especially at night, offering instant access to mental health support through helpline information and QR codes connecting people to real help, 24/7.
At a time when so many people are silently struggling, something as simple as a bench can remind someone that they are not alone.

Across the day, a number of our resident organisations will be sharing their stories, highlighting the real impact of volunteering, what volunteer support means to their work, and how you can get involved.
