Unitas offers distance learning opportunities for anyone wanting to learn more about or work in the youth justice and criminal justice systems. We provide high quality, vocationally relevant courses and degrees, that are affordable and accessible to all. Our courses combine academic rigour with vocational relevance and students are supported by staff who combine specialist subject knowledge with a

n understanding of its practical application.
We are passionately committed to improving outcomes for children who have been involved in the criminal justice system by helping improve the knowledge and skills of those working with them.
We commission leading academics, highly experienced managers, and skilled practitioners from a wide range of organisations to design our courses and their materials. We also employ people with extensive experience of the youth and criminal justice systems.

We love a feel good education story!

As Pat Wetherell has proved, there really is no limit when it comes to continuing learning! Education should be open to all and seen as a pleasure, not a chore. With research proving that our health fares better if we actively use our brains, education is something we should treat in the same way as going to the gym. Mind, spirit and soul.

Our degree pathway in criminology or our MA pathway in youth justice could be just what is needed, as Pat says "I am 80 in September so maybe I should call it a day, but I don't want to. You are never too old. If you have got any doubts, just go for it!"
