Just4Children Just4Children provide fundraising support to families for the medical needs of their children with disabilities and sickness.

Just4Children is passionate about the relief of sickness and preservation of health of children in the UK and Ireland by providing and assisting in the provision of grants to enable them to obtain medical treatment, therapies, living environments, equipment and holidays which would not otherwise be available to them.

Unfortunately, we're back in A&E with Carmela today after she started feeling worse again. 💔

As her current health problems are gynaecology-related, we're waiting to be seen by the appropriate team, but that department is incredibly busy.

We've now been here for 5½ hours and are still waiting.

It's heartbreaking seeing Carmela feeling so poorly, especially after everything she's already been through.

We're just hoping to get some answers and the treatment she needs so we can get her feeling better again. ❤️‍🩹

Thankfully, her heart is good.

Thank you to everyone who has been asking after her and sending lovely messages. ❤️

💚 Thinking outside the box with Dewi. 💚

Dewi has a standing frame that he should use daily to help protect his bone health and hips. He has hip displacement, so getting him standing is really important. But with his dystonia being so relentless, getting him comfortably into the frame has been a real struggle.

We know that movement can help ease his dystonia, so tonight we tried something a little different. We put his standing frame on top of the Hypervibe, a vibrating plate.

And honestly, the difference was amazing. He seemed so much more comfortable and settled in the standing frame. 🥹

The funny thing? We’ve been struggling with this for months, and it’s only tonight that we thought to try it!

Sometimes, living this life means constantly problem-solving, adapting and trying things outside the box. We don’t always get it right, but when something works, it feels like a huge win.

One small change, a big difference for Dewi. 💚
