True Stories Live Interesting, anecdotal stories told by people like you. Based around a given theme, speakers tell true, personal stories without notes.

We believe that everyone has stories that can entertain and inspire those who hear them. True Stories Live aims to help people find and share their stories in a warm, supportive setting.

We offer workshops or conversat

ions prior to performances to help interested speakers discover and develop their stories, ready to perform at an event if they wish to. We nurture and celebrate intimate, anecdotal storytelling from performers and non-performers alike.

We are sad to announce that we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the TSL scheduled for this Sunday, 26th July 7.30pm at NAC. Everyone in our wonderful community has been and still is very busy which is brilliant but has created challenges for us #. Thank you to everyone who stepped forward to tell a story, or be our poet and thank you to all you lovely ticket buyers. We shall return with vim and vigour in the autumn on 1st November for Unravelling. We will keep hold of Don’t Rain on my Parade for another time. So - now you have plenty of time to think of your story for the next event. Have a wonderful Pride weekend and a fabulous rest of summer. ❤️
