Employment Support Drop-In!

As part of our partnership work with Future Projects, lovely Umer is now hosting an open Employment Support Drop-In session at our office every Monday from 12-1:30pm.

If you struggle to find work, come over to Norwich Unity Hub at Carrow House (301 King Street, NR1 2TG), have a chat and learn about the support offered by Future, Rippleacts and the overall programme.

We're proud to share the results of a recent social value analysis of our work supporting long-term unemployed people in Norfolk.

In 2025, Rippleacts generated £714,000 in social value for the local community - over 18x our revenue in the same year!🎊💰

This is a joint achievement with our wonderful supporters, partners and funders who help us turn little resource into big ripples! 🌊

Start 1st October, 4-8 hours/week, hybrid work (remote / from Carrow House).

We still have a few spaces left on this coaching course for North City residents, starting on Tuesday. Run by an excellent qualified life coach, this course will help people who are out of work to re-build their confidence, feel better and become work ready.

And we did it again!

This week, we handed over our seventh pro bono "Ripple" Project, this time to our friends from New-U!

Over eight hot summer weeks, our team of participants did a dedicated and fantastic job in upgrading their Honesty Library community space at Castle Quarter.

The Honesty Library has now a refreshed look, a newly installed changing room and a colourful "floor jigsaw gallery". On the way, our participants built and discovered valuable skills, work experience, confidence and community.

Congratulations to the team and a big thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund for funding this initiative. Come over to Castle Quarter to have a look yourself and try some of New-U's fashionable pre-loved clothes in the new fitting room!
