Rippleacts is a Norwich-based social enterprise supporting long-term unemployed people to re-discover their strengths and passion, and make a lasting change to their lives. We do this with a combination of cognitive-behavioural coaching, project work, accompanied work experience and peer-mentoring. As part of this journey, we support local charities with small hands-on projects, helping our clients unlock their skills for the benefit of their local community.

And just like that, the Momentum Leadership programme has come to an end!

Over the past six months, our amazing life and leadership coach Louise Colbridge has been working with social enterprise leaders, helping them to grow in confidence and become more resilient.

"The session encouraged me to be more intentional with my time, protect my capacity, and recognise that effective leadership starts with taking care of myself as well as my team."

Being a leader or CEO, particularly of a growing social enterprise, can be a lonely position sometimes. It has it's own unique challenges and stresses so we are really glad to be able to play a part in creating a safe space and community of changemakers and entrepreneurs.

Thank you so much to all who attended and to our wonderful collaborators at FUSE Network

Kindly funded by the Aviva Car Park fund.

Four weeks in and the Honesty Library at New-U is looking different! 🎉🛠️

The redecoration is coming along beautifully and - even better - the space will soon have extended use and a little walk-on art gallery! This is exactly the kind of transformation we love to help create.

Right now our team of participants are creating a new changing room: a shiny new door is fitted and the paintbrushes are out, plus they're busy patching up the floor with some creative designs. Alongside all the DIY, they're picking up brilliant new skills in teamwork, project admin and design along the way. 💪

Only two weeks left on this project, pop in and see the transformation for yourself, we'd love to show you around!

Huge thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund for making it all possible. 💙

Welcoming Toby to the Rippleacts team!

We're pleased to welcome Toby as our newest intern at Rippleacts. Toby is currently studying Geography with Global Development at the University of East Anglia, bringing a fresh, globally-minded perspective to our team.

Outside of his studies, Toby has a genuine passion for connecting with people and a strong interest in travel, both of which align well with the collaborative, outward-looking culture we champion here. (He's also partial to a good cup of coffee, so don't be surprised if he invites you for one!)

We're looking forward to supporting his growth over the coming months and seeing the contributions he'll make along the way.

Welcome to the team, Toby!
