Notification of Steve Finneys Funeral arrangements, please do pass on to anyone who knew him-
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the heartfelt messages of condolence and support we have received during this difficult time.
Steve's funeral will be held on Monday, 6th July 2026.
Steve will be brought back to his home in Mamble at 11:45am, followed by a funeral service at Wyre Forest Crematorium, Kidderminster, Worcestershire,
A burial will take place in the crematorium grounds afterwards.
Anyone who knew Steve is warmly invited to come and pay their respects, both at the family home and at the crematorium. You are also welcome to join the family for refreshments afterwards.
Thank you once again for your kindness, support, and sympathy at this time.

Our annual tractor run in and around Bridgnorth is organised by Bridgnorth Vintage Machinery Club.
Can I please ask you all to vote for Bridgnorth Vintage Machinery Club as we have been nominated in this years Midlands Air Ambulance community fundraisers award.

Bridgnorth Vintage Machinery Club has been in and around Bridgnorth for nearly 40 years , we have a great group of members who work together to raise lots of monies for local charities every year, with us giving Midlands Air Ambulance over £100.000 to date.

It is a huge priveledge to be nominated so lets see how many votes we can get before the closing date of the 26th June.

We have two great tractor runs coming up in a few weeks on both sides of the river in and around Bridgnorth .
Over the last few months there have been comments from all over the UK and posts on trailers and transporrt boxes carrying passengers .
We all know they are not designed for or are actually legal ways to carry your passengers, but do get allowed as long as they have secure sides and secured seats. ( no standing ) and only one person on a tractor if it has only got one seat .
The sides should be high enough to stop anybody falling off and never over crowd the trailer.
No bales of hay as seats , and good safety chains between the box /trailer and the tractor .
As a tractor run organiser myself of many years please take care and dont turn up with something that will cause the organiser to tell you you cannot take part.
And dont forget we are all doing these runs to raise monies for good causes ,
The safer we carry on the longer we will be allowed to carry on the way we enjoy or tractor runs .

On Sunday our tractor run in and around Bridgnorth was again a great success.
We raised £2000 for Midlands Air Ambulance .
None of this would be possible without the help of lots of people so here are a few of them
Thank you to .
Daniel Morton and his team at Apley Farm Shop for the use of there facilities and hospitallity at the start and finish point.
Louis Parkin at Apley Estate for gaining us access to the lovely off road sections around Apley Hall.
Dave Millar and the team from Staffordshire and Shrophire 4x4 responce for the marshalling of the traffic junctions around the 25 mile route ( pictured ).
James Gittins who sorted out the road closures and organsied the marshalling team in and around Bridgnorth High St .
Bridgnorth Town Council .
Members of Bridgnorth Vintage Machinery Club who do various jobs all around the day.
The tractor owners/drivers that came along to take part.
And finally the huge amount of people that not only met us when we arrived in Bridgnorth but those that lined the route to cheers us on.

If today's tractor run had got a prize for the best tractor it would definitely gone to Ashley Bow with her Easter themed transport box.
Maybe we can create a dressing up category next year.
