Charity number: 518983 We are newly formed PTA after the previous one disbanded some years ago.

We are a small and friendly group of parents and teaching staff that organise a number of social and fundraising events throughout the year in order to raise money for our school. The money raised is then used for all those extras that help to enhance the students’ lives at school. Every parent/carer that has a child at Hartford Church of England High School is a member of the PTA. Some parents/ca

rers are more actively involved than others, but all help is always greatly appreciated by the committee members. Hartford Church of England High School Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

We have a Committee comprising the following parents and school staff and representatives:

* Claire Dutton Prokop- Secretary
* Jo Solomon- Treasurer
* Lauren Pendlebury- Grants and Funding Officer
* Amber Gregory- School link
* Sarah-Jane Falconer- Governor link

We then have a group of ‘microvolunteer’ parents. They can be involved as little as making a suggestion in the WhatsApp group, sending some emails or researching something for the PTA, to helping on a tuck shop, or co-ordinating an event. It really depends on the parent and their availability. Some cannot attend meetings so help from their own homes in their own time. Hartford high pta are looking for donations for an Easter hamper raffle. If anyone or any businesses in or around Hartford could help in donating a gift or a voucher then please get in touch.
All monies raised are been used to provide equipment for the children who attend the school.

The dates are the 11th, 12th and 13th. Roughly 5.30 until the end of the interval.

A Huge Thank You to Our Amazing PTA - Harford CofE High School PTA!

We’re delighted to share that our fantastic PTA raised £110 by selling refreshments and raffle tickets at our recent Performing Arts Extravaganza.

It was a brilliant event, and we’re so grateful for all the support. Every penny raised will go towards funding exciting outdoor play equipment for our students. Thank you to everyone who contributed!

🎄 Family Christmas Hampers – Donations Welcome!

The PTA is now running a Family Christmas Hamper Raffle, with four hampers being created — one for each Family group.

From Monday 24th November to Wednesday 10th December, we’d be incredibly grateful for any donations to help fill the hampers. Be as creative as you like!

Suggested items include:
• Chocolate
• Sweet treats
• Stationery
• Small seasonal gifts
• Pampering/bathroom goodies
(Please note: No alcohol, thank you.)

Donations can be handed to form tutors.

🎟 Raffle Tickets
Tickets will soon be available on Scopay for just £1 per strip.
Students will also be able to buy paper tickets in school, and they’ll be on sale at school events in the run-up to Christmas.

Winners will be drawn by Mrs Pickerill on Monday 15th December, and hampers can be collected from the school office on the final day of term.

Sainsbury's, marks and spencer, and asda all support easyfundraising donations.
There is no extra cost to yo. When you buy online, donations are made to the schools pta fund.
