People living and working in Cheshire are invited by North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) to share their views and experiences of our 999 emergency ambulance service and NHS 111 service as part of a community listening event.
Whether you’re an interested member of the public, NHS professional, carer, patient, or healthcare champion, we want to listen to and learn from you. We are hosting a series of events across the five counties of the North West (Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cumbria and Lancashire) to meet and talk to people who use our services.
Our determined staff continue to care compassionately for Cheshire’s residents whilst the NHS faces on-going challenges, particularly with hospital handover delays. We have seen how in recent times, our healthcare needs have changed and, as both an emergency service and an NHS trust, we’re looking at how we can adapt and improve.
With this in mind, we are checking in with people in our communities to discuss how effectively we deliver our 999 and 111 services, ensuring we have the right resources in the right place at the right time, to perform to the high standards our patients expect.
Our Cheshire area community listening event will take place on Tuesday 05 March 2024, 10:30am–14:30 at Northwich Memorial Court, Chesterway, Northwich, CW9 5QJ
