Would anyone like to buy this beautiful skep. (It may be useful at this time of year!) It has been donated to raise funds for a trophy for the charity honey classes at The Royal Cheshire Show. It was made by Barry Milne at the show last year . He is a wonderful craftsman and I would invite bids of over £40. Any excess money will be donated to St Luke’s hospice. Please message me with your bid.

Cheshire BKA honey show was another successful year for Mid Cheshire Beekeepers, winning many classes and taking away the overall points shield again!!

Lesley Jacques has won Gold at Apimondia for her recent book, "Where Do the Bees Go," looking at pollinator forage, in class 12 at Apimondia.
Lesley gained her Master Beekeeper qualification in 2022 and NDB in 2024.
She is Vice Chair of Cheshire Beekeepers’ Association as well as being a founder member of Mid Cheshire Beekeepers.

Our meeting with the grim beekeeper wasn’t so bad after all, a quick inspection of 2 hives and a nuc, eggs and queens spotted, followed by hot drinks and cake! Thank you to Josh our host!

We’re all set up at Hartford Tennis Club for Storeys 24hour padel-athon in aid of Cardiac Risk in the Young. We’ll be here until 4pm, come and spot the queen and buy some honey (£1 donation to cry uk per jar sold).
