Members went to the Edwardian era for the day, thanks to Cheshire Federation of WIs! What the Edwardians did for us? Learning about women's organisations, demise of the workhouse, art, music and popular music. Plenty of things to do including a quiz, sorry Bev, we won again😎

Little Leigh Mayfair this coming Saturday 9th of May, crowning of the new Queen Charlotte by Mrs Jenny Jones will take place in the hall carpark at 2pm; with the school choir. The stalls will be open afterwards. Plenty of stalls and things to do especially for the children, paint a dinosaur, puppy, make a spoon person, spin the wheel for a chocolate and hook a flamingo. Plus, cake, Tombola, bottle Tombola, craft, wine a bottle, and wool/crochet stalls. Don't forget the raffle!

7 of our members went to Nunsmere hall for the Cheshire Federation of WIs Spring Meeting. 2 inspirational speakers, first Sherin Akhtar Lord Mayor of Chester then Will Kirk from BBC The Repair Shop. He had many a heart fluttering 😍

First meet up for children and parents to enroll and assign roles for the Mayfair retinue, Friday 20th of March 3.30, at the village hall. Any child wishing to take part please pop along.
