It's WI Day on Wednesday and The WI (National Federation of Women's Institutes) has asked us to take photos of a trio of our members to celebrate 111 years of our wondeful WI organisation. 1 + 1 + 1 + 111 😀

So we gathered 3 members together to represent the

Our meeting this week was from British Button Society

Such an array of amazing buttons on display

Lots of different materials used over the years

People had to take buttons off garments before washing them in the past 😳

We are grateful to Olga for stepping in a late notice

Throughly enjoyed the evening

We even had a visitor from other side of Pennines that we had only ever seen on screen during lockdown meetings WI Wanderers

Alison Peek. Thank you. We hope you managed to get back to the ‘dark side’ ok 🤣🤣
