Regrettably it is with a heavy heart that I must announce that JM Handyman Services will, for the foreseeable future not be taking on any more work and will cease to trade.

This is due to personal reasons whereby I now have to be a carer for my family.

All clients currently booked in, I will soon be calling you all personally.

Thank you all for your support over the years and I wish you all the very best.

📢 Important Notice

Due to unforseen personal issues, JM Handyman Services will be going Part Time for the foreseeable future.

This will not effect any jobs currently booked (we will still honour existing bookings) but will reduce available diary space for new bookings.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause but it is unavoidable.

As you may recall, before Christmas I posted for your help in my goal to reach 100 genuine reviews by 2024.... unfortunately we did fall a little short of that (93 with another added today making 94)

You may also know (from previous posts and shares) that JM Handyman Services supports the local Project 16:15 charity who are front line in the support of our homeless community.

I have decided that I would like to reset my goal for 100 Genuine Reviews giving plenty of time for this to be achieved (only 6 more reviews) with a deadline set to 29th February 2024 (midnight)

Should this be achieved, I will donate £1 for every Genuine Review registered on this page to Project 16:15 (100 reviews = £100 etc.)

So please, if you have had work done by JM Handyman Services and have not yet left a review, please do so 🙏

As we head into the unknown that is 2024, I would like to reassure you all that here at JM Handyman Services our commitment to offering the best customer service, quality of work and value for money will remain ever prominent in our coad of ethics.

To this end, despite the ever rising costs of daily living, and that we have not altered our pricing structure since November 2022, we have no plans to implement any rise to our rates in the foreseeable future but are still dedicated to continue to offer the best possible service within our power.

As a reminder, most things will come under our General Work Rates however there are a few jobs that carry Fixed Rates.

Our General Work Rates are:

Hourly rates are:
Single person = £25 per hour
2 people = £40 per hour
(minimum charge is 1 hours labour)

Daily rates (8 hours) are:
Single person= £180 per day
2 people = £300 per day
(minimum charge is 1 day's labour)
