Having an end of summer clear out?

We have 2 bins located in the top car park at Blisworth Community Primary School for textile recycling. When you use them you are also helping us to raise funds.

What can you put in?
👕 Adult & Children’s clothing
🩴 Paired Shoes
👜 Handbags & Belts
🛏️ Sheets, Curtains & Towels

Place clean, dry items in small tied bags (large bags can block chute).

🗑️ If you have donations for our Pre-Loved Uniform Shop please wait until school reopens in September. These can be left in basket inside hall doors.

We filled every draw in the FOBS freezer in school on Friday 🧊☀️😁

Shh!! Don’t tell your children!

Huge thanks to Friends of Blisworth School for starting off our summer weather supplies.

We hope all the special men in our children’s lives have had a great day and enjoyed the gifts from FOB’s wonderful shop.

We have emailed to say, children can wear plain, cool shorts and T-shirts. Don’t forget to send a hat, sun cream and a water bottle though we won’t be in the heat and sun for long periods of time. This week, we will make sure we look after them in the heat and another email will come tomorrow.

Have a great evening everyone,
Miss Jenkins

We’re ready to open up the D.U.G.S shop tomorrow (Thursday 18th June).

Special thanks to our last minute volunteers stepping in to help us!

This is a great opportunity for children to independently buy gifts for the special men in their lives. 😊

✅ Children who wish to participate need to bring money with them to school, in a named purse or envelope in the morning. Gifts from £1 to £3.

🛍️ At the end of the school day, children will be given their purchases to take back home with, together with any money left.

😷 If your child is currently off sick we are looking into alternative shopping arrangements and will be in touch if we can. Get well soon!
