Tomorrow (Thursday 5-7pm) we have a special offer on our freezer bags for you 🎉😁
We are offering 1 freezer bag for 15 units or 2 for 25 units. For tomorrow only, in addition to the usual selection of products in the freezer bag, you will also get a FREE ready meal which makes this even more of a bargain !! 🧊❄️🥳🥳

We often get asked what's in a freezer bag and here are photos of a couple of bags but it is a random selection of products at a greatly reduced price of 15 units. There are mixed bags (meat and or fish plus extras), veggie, vegan and ready meals. 3 units = £1.

We also have individual pizzas at various prices for you in addition to our usual KFC

We always have lots of questions from you lovely people about our shop and how things work..

Here are some FAQ's that hopefully answer all of your questions...but remember our shop is staffed by the most amazing and friendly team and they are always very happy to run through things if you are not sure. Just pop along to say hi! 😁

🍇 Where is the shop? On Headlands Northampton NN3 2NU – opposite the end of Bushland Road

🥦Cash or card? Both – you can pay with either.

🥑Who can use the shop? Literally anyone irrespective of age, means or anything else. There is no membership or joining fee.

🍄Allergies? Our goods come from lots of different suppliers and we cannot guarantee they are free from allergens. If you have severe allergies we advise you to not shop with us.

🍅 Do you deliver? We are unable to deliver.

🍉 Opening times? Tues 12-2pm, Thurs 5-7pm and Saturday 11-1pm.

🌽Can I volunteer? Absolutely. We have lots of different roles every day of the week. Have a look at our website Foodkind.co.uk and click on the ‘Get involved’ link.

🫑 How does it work? We collect surplus produce and sell it in our shop. Everything is priced in units - £1 is 3 units. More expensive items are more units. Our volunteers can help when you come first time. Our stock varies every opening but we have fresh produce, drinks and frozen items all priced in units plus free basic bread as you leave. Some of our products are past their ‘Best before date’ but will be safe to consume based on Food Standards Regulations.

Us again! We have just rescued a huge amount of produce so we able to offer unlimited produce today until 1pm. Theres no queue and our lovely volunteers are on hand to answer any questions you have.

Special offer is our freezer bags are on offer at 2 bags for 25 units ( 1 bag 15 units or £5)❄️🧊🤤

We have loads of crisps, fruits and veg, fanta , ginger beer and don't forget your free basic bread on way out!😁

We won't be able to answer any questions as we are very very busy getting the shop ready for opening at 11am-1pm (Saturday)

These goods will head straight off to support young people leaving care and families facing challenges within our community.

Our fantastic volunteers, partners and local groups such as Abbey Joggers enable us to give help where it’s needed.

Today we completed another food rescue so come along to the shop tomorrow 5pm-7pm (Thursday) to find out what new items we have available for you! 😁

We would like to say a special thank you to Wrights Of Northampton who have supported our organisation for many years. In supplying vehicles for us to use we are able to rescue tonnes of produce destined for landfill so that this can be redirected to the community at affordable prices. Also thanks to our two young volunteers who helped unload the delivery 💚
