🌿 A Big Evening of Community Spirit at the Northampton District Scout Shop! 🌿

The garden behind the Northampton District Scout Shop has been getting a little wild lately — so tonight Pyrenees Explorer Unit stepped up to start tackling the overgrowth.

We were delighted to be joined by Northampton’s Town Mayor, Mike Hallam, who rolled up his sleeves and got stuck in alongside the young people. A brilliant example of local leadership supporting youth-led community action.

This is just the first stage. Once the space is fully cleared, we’ll be looking at transforming it into a usable outdoor area for Scouting activities and wider community benefit.

Huge thanks to everyone who came along and put in the hard work. The difference already is incredible.

An opportunity for 2 explorers to join the pedal car race with a seasoned team on 3rd May

Drop off in wootton at 7:30am and pick up back in wootton at 8:30pm - the race is in Hereford - so a minibus will be taking them to and from the race

Included is snacks and burger or hot dog, but they will need to take lunch
