Do you have a skill, hobby or interest you'd like to share with the village?
Have you ever thought about running a craft workshop, hobby group, exercise class, music session or community activity?
Perhaps you've considered it before but weren't sure whether there would be enough interest. Or maybe you'd like to test an idea without committing to a long-term arrangement.
Brixworth Village Hall could be the perfect place to start.
We're always keen to see the hall being used for activities that bring people together, and there are opportunities for all kinds of groups and events:
* Meditation or martial arts
* Crochet or cribbage
* Dance classes or Dungeons & Dragons
* Flower arranging or film clubs
* Parent-and-toddler groups
* Fitness and wellbeing sessions
* Music, arts and creative workshops
If you need a space, we'd love to hear from you. Whether it's for a one-off event, or you'd like to book a series of sessions, please message us.
For much of the year, the hall is occupied by the preschool during weekdays, so availability is largely limited to evenings and weekends.
However, during the school holidays we have substantial daytime availability, particularly on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Rather than seeing those periods go unused, we'd like to help local people turn good ideas into successful community activities.
While we can't offer the hall free of charge, new activities that are open to the public and can run during weekday school-holiday daytime slots may qualify for our Summer Community Starter Rate.
If you've got an idea you'd like to explore, please get in touch.
We'd be delighted to hear about it and see how we can help make it happen.
Any questions?
