A huge turnout from the pink and purples at Banbury 5 miler last night for round 3 of the East Midlands Grand Prix series for 2026 last night! We just about dodged the rain at the start and welcomed, not so happily, a huge rainstorm towards the finish 🌧️ 😆

BLISWORTH 5 2026

Round 2 of the 2026 EMGP race series and it was our turn! Our classic 5 mile (undulating) loop around Blisworth was the setting on Friday 🌅🏃‍♂️

Congrats to all our runners, some fabulous times, efforts and PBs! 🏆

Of course this would never be able to happen without our fabulous volunteers (oh and our great big green tractor that leads out our race 🚜 😎)

A glorious morning taking over Salcey forest parkrun and turning it into quite literally a sea of pink and purple 🩷🌟🌞💜

We provided Marshalls, time keepers, barcode scanners, pacers, gazebo manners and everything in between ⏱️👏🏻🌸

A big thanks to all our WRR volunteers - without you we wouldn’t be able to put on and help out with events in our community 👫 🌍

All that’s left to say is … bring on the next ! 🏃‍♂️ 💭
