Blackcurrent House is an anarchist/vegan/vegetarian/eco housing co-operative located in Northampton, just a 15 minute walk from the town centre, a 30 minute walk from Northampton train station Now is the time for building downward and deepening our movement in preparation for the post Covid-19 attacks soon to be coming down the pipe at us from Government, councils, employers and landlords; not lea

st those attacks coming at people’s ability to be securely housed; and which for many all has already started! We have 9 bedrooms - 8 of which are currently occupied, 3 WC's - one of which includes a bath / shower combo, an office, a common room - the Goldman Centre, and a large kitchen. Meeting Room

We welcome similar groups to use The Goldman Centre our large meeting room for meetings for donation/low or no cost


Our Vision

Our long term vision is to become a thriving, landlord/mortgage free, eco-friendly, anarchistic housing co-op to set an example of a better way of living than the present, capitalist driven one currently in place, and to assist others in setting up similar coops
