This is for anyone who is struggling to provide food this Christmas

You could club together at work to put a hamper together, or at home by yourself they are amazing boxes that help vulnerable elderly people

We are looking for
Christmas Day dinner items
Gifts for children aged 0-16yrs here are a few ideas:
Arts & crafts
Bath sets
Make up etc
Toys
Games
Footballs, rugby ball, basketball (any sport related items)
Selection boxes
Boxes of chocolates
Fuffy socks
Books
We can’t accept things that are opened .

We was so successful last year in helping so many families have a wonderful Christmas
Children who would of had nothing to eat, no presents, no heating, got to have an amazing magical breakfast, had items under the tree so they could wake up with a smile on their faces parents had food they could cook, they didn’t feel like they had failed as a parent, and got to play a game spending time together as that’s what Christmas is about family, friends kindness & togetherness And We done it all together, every single donation big or small made a massive difference to someone’s life
That’s all we do it for we do not profit from our event everything goes to our families

We are back for another year!!!!
Once again we are teaming up with Earths lonely Angels & ems platters for our amazing grotto! Bigger and better!!
Last year we managed to support so many families with Christmas Day breakfast, presents, and Christmas dinner!! the grotto will be held on the 19/12/21 at the Thomas & Beckett pub
Once again application forms will need to be complete and you will also need a reference (school, social worker, family member)
We had a lot of people try and claim help that they didn’t need and they were refused! we will not accept these applications so please do not take advantage and please leave the help for those who really need it!

Donations: we couldn’t of done this without all the donations we received from our towns kindest people! We were all so grateful and proud that our town pulled together to support those in a difficult situation
We will need your help again!! If you would like to donate anything from the list please contact us via messenger
We had a wide range of families with all different ages from 0-16yrs this year we are asking for
Any item for Christmas dinner
Any toys
Arts and craft sets
Sport gifts footballs etc
Gifts for older children (vouchers, bath sets, deodorant sets bags etc)
Chocolates (selection boxes etc)

Unfortunately due to last year we will only be able to accept new items if you have any used items you wish to gift then please head over to Santa’s little helpers pop up a post and you can donate it to a family who gets in touch with you personally

Once again we can spread that Christmas magic and we are so excited it was amazing last year to see all those children have a smile on their face

We have all been in a position where we have struggled, we are not sure where the next dinner is coming from or be able to pay the next bill that comes in and over the last 2 years it’s got a lot worse, people have lost everything they have worked so hard for and a little help will go along way with the Christmas Day sorted they can hear their home or pay their rent
I know we have great togetherness in Northampton I witnessed last year and every day since
Only 7 weeks to go let’s get ready to celebrate together!!!!!

Good afternoon to you all although we have been quiet on the page we have still continued to help people since Christmas as we work on donations it has been more with items than food
Lots of people are messaging me with items to see if we can gift them on which gave me the idea of using the page to also help others gift their items to those that are in need
So please add as many people as you can do we can get gifting & swapping items if you have an item you’d like to get rid of post it here and if you need something then ask for it here hopefully this way we can still provide as much help as possible
We are still doing our important friendship phone calls which has provided a lifeline for so many people in this hard time,
We have been taking people to their vaccination appointments which would not have been able to go
We have helped 15 children have beds to sleep on, we have helped clothe adults and children so please invite your friends & family share our group we may be able to help someone close to you who needs that help

We were all wet so so wet
We had a brilliant day so many children with a happy face they got to see Santa, a bag of reindeer food, breakfast box, they got a Christmas dinner a veg box from M&S 🤩 plus their presents and they even got popcorn from Emma and which Jimmys store donated to us from Suntory ☺️☺️ now you can see the great Christmas they have had
A huge thank you to everybody who has helped in anyway, Time, donations or supporting us we have loved every minute of it!
Most of us will be in a position where we struggle at some point in our lives and this year more than any other year friends, family, strangers anyone you can help in anyway you go for it!
I hope you all enjoy your Christmas Day knowing we have fed 600 families

We are now ready to go in the morning 😜😁☺️☺️ thank you to everyone who has helped we had a lovely donation today from Jimmys store they donated lots of Ribena for the children, we also had a lovely donation from Annette thank you so much

Please can I remind everyone it is invitation only, please make sure you turn up at your specific time, if you haven’t been given a time slot then please do not turn up thinking you can get in, We will not be able to offer you anything and you will be sent away empty handed!
Due to Covid we have a very strict schedule
If a family member or friend is bringing you please bring just that person do not bring their children or anyone extra for the grotto as again their children’s names are not down and will be leaving upset as they will have nothing to collect!
The police and NBC have given us permission to continue with the event so we have to stick to our rules and theirs!
So please do not just turn up, arrive at your appointment time
See you all in the morning it is forecast to rain so make sure you are weather prepared 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

With the help of so many of you from our amazing town we have helped hundreds of families eat this Christmas as well as gifting so many presents for their children hopefully everyone will be able to have a lovely Christmas Day without the worry of their situation we have reached our goal and have enough food and toys thanks to everyone who donated without you all it wouldn’t of been possible we have met so many wonderful people, we have made great friends & contacts too!!!!
We will be hoping to continue every year getting bigger and better (if we get the storage space 🤣) the grotto is on the 23rd look out for all those pictures the doorstep delivering will be completed in the next couple of days☺️

We finally met up with Aine from ELA
A huge thank you to my beautiful neighbour Sam who has stored half of it in her freezer
clearly we had not anticipated the amount of shopping maybe a bigger freezer next year!
If your still planning to donate please do as we still have the families not coming to the grotto to feed ☺️. Xx
