*The start of a very lovely week*

Mondays and Tuesdays just seem to disappear in a blink of an eye.

It’s been lovely to see the sun back today and feel the warmth again.

It is men’s mental health awareness and Loneliness Awareness week this week so we are doing lots of lovely things with our gents and all of our friends just to make them know how extra special they all are to us.

Loneliness and mental health is a global issue and there still, in 2026, not enough resources to combat them.
If you’re reading this, just know, our kettle is always on, our door is always open and we always have time for a chat 🤗

What a week it’s been guys. We have been B.U.S.Y

Lots of lovely new families have found our wonderful corner of the world and we have 9 new friends starting with us next week 🤗

We still have a poorly driver, Ray. Unfortunately he is still in hospital but doing ok 🤕

The whole team have been incredible with keeping our friends busy, making sure our new friends are collected and took home safely and just generally being awesome 🫶🏼

All 3 centres have been busy with World Cup decorations, penalty shoot outs and fresh air.

Shout out to our Sarah who had a temporary barber shop in Evergreens yesterday, making our gents look and feel gorgeous 🥰

*Truly scrummy Tuesday*

It’s been another action packed day for our Forget-Me-Nots and Evergreens today.

This morning they had a visit from Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service and absolutely loved climbing on the truck and learning about the equipment.

I think the crew enjoyed puppy cuddles too and Gracie certainly made some new hero friends.

This afternoon the amazing Long Buckby Ukulele Group crossed the border to play for us and they sounded incredible in our hub.

We can’t wait to have them back 🤗

How could we be sad on a rainy Monday when there ponies and friends to keep our spirits up 🫶🏼

Our Daffodils had the best guests this morning and were visited by Bessy Boo and Dennis and it was wonderful. Our friends smiles says that 😃

Now we don’t do well with staying in so the rain could’ve really spoilt our day but there was loads to choose from today and the team kept everyone nice and busy 🤗

Guys it’s been a bit of a week already and it’s only Tuesday.

Some of you know already but our lovely driver, Ray, is quite poorly at the moment 😢
Things are heading in the right direction but he won’t be at work for some time so we’re all busy, busy making sure things continue to run smooth.

Sending all the love and well wishes in the world to Ray 🥰

Happiest of Birthdays to our OG friend, Audrey 🫶🏼
Audrey is our longest attendee and was with us on our very first day opening.
Also Fern’s Grandma, there’s not many people in our Affinity family who don’t know Audrey.
Good job there was more then enough cake for everyone 🎂
