STEM Buddies CIC We provide STEM opportunities for young people across the North East Green Shift Educational Services bring education to life.

We plan and deliver a variety of STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) workshops, after school science clubs and science or engineering/construction themed parties. We offer both national curriculum and non national curriculum based workshops and services to children ranging from nursery age to young adults. With a range of innovative and creative methods, we engage and motivate our le

arners at school and beyond. Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, we cover right across the north east region, offering fun, enriching and hands on sessions, helping to inspire our future generations. We work to the highest educational standards; complementing existing learning in schools across the region. We also work closely with employers which enables us to provide relevant smart skills that will set the youngsters in good stead come there time to enter employment.

Our lovely day time Baking Club is back this week for a 5 week block.

We are relaxed, small group sessions that are flexible enough to accommodate children’s needs.

We provide all the equipment and you will get to go home with a lovely bake each week.

This workshop is at Dame Dorothy Community HUB, SR6 in Sunderland each Tuesday morning 930-1030ish.

We have updated our term time sessions and changed a few after discussions with our families for the next block.

Tuesday - Baking Club 9.30 - 10.30

- Block building session 10.30am to 11.30pm (this includes free building, themed building, and instructional sets)

Thursday - Crazy chemistry club - 9.30am to 10.30am

- Natural Science Club - 11am - 12pm (this is new - we are looking at eco systems, nature, and earth science. This includes building bee hotels, creating a oil spill, water filtering, etc)

These are lead by qualified and experience Teachers and Teaching assistants. Enhanced DBS checked and first aid trained.
