We've had a great time this week in not one, but 2 fabulous creative workshops, led by studio member SJC_Arty

Our members and community participants are working with Sarahjane in some skill-share sessions to create a colony of penguins for an installation at our Community Studio over winter.

The sculptures are made from recycled materials, single use plastics and a huge dash of penguin personality! They also all have names beginning with the letter P!

There's still time to see Eva's solo at our Community Studio in Wallsend Forum! The exhibition brings together a collection of Eva's creative passions and is a reflection of the materials, subjects and creative processes that inspire her most.

We're taking part in North Tyneside's World Mental Health Day event next Wednesday and we're delighted to share the poster, featuring the art of one of our creative community participants! Norma's Kintsugi-inspired artwork was selected by the event committee to feature on this year's poster.

Huge congratulations to Norma and thank you to all of our members and community participants who took part in the competition. You can see a selection of the entries on display at the event and enjoy a range of stalls and activities too!

We're delighted to share our Creative Community Programme for October! We're excited to begin our March of the Penguins project which will culminate in a winter exhibition in our community studio. Why not join us this month for some seasonal painting and spooktacular crafts too..Scroll down for full details.

Please note that our sessions at Stephenson will relocate briefly to Segedunum in Wallsend, from 28th October. Full details of dates are on the Creative Journeys programme below. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch or speak to a member or staff in the studio.
