Wishing you a peaceful Easter! ☕️🐣

We hope your weekend is filled with great company, warm memories, and maybe an extra hot cross bun (or two!). Whether you’re catching up with family or enjoying a quiet morning coffee, we’d love to see you on Saturday ☕️

Our Easter Hours:
🗓️ Good Friday: CLOSED
🗓️ Saturday 4th: 9am-2.30pm
🗓️ Easter Sunday: CLOSED
🗓️ Monday 6th: CLOSED

Price Update for Cafe 1879 ☕️

We're making a few changes at Cafe 1879, and we want to let you know what's happening.

Every time you grab a coffee or a meal from us, you're not just getting great food and drink—you're also supporting the vital work of YMCA North Tyneside. Your purchases help fund important community initiatives, like our youth groups, community allotments, and community meals 🧡

Due to the rising cost of living, our cafe is currently not breaking even. To continue offering the high-quality food and drink you love while still supporting our community, we'll be updating our prices starting tomorrow, 1st September 2025.

Your support means the world to us. As a thank you, Cafe Members will continue to receive their 10% discount. If you're not yet a member, you can join for just £10 a year to help us continue our mission while enjoying your favourite cafe treats 🍰
