We will be holding our Christmas Jumper Sale coffee morning at All Saints Parish Rooms, Normanton on Wednesday 4th November from 8.30am to 11am.

Don't forget to check your Christmas jumpers still fit you and your kids, ready for those Christmas parties and Christmas Jumper Day! If they don't why not donate them to us? Donations can be dropped off at The Well Loved Shop, Normanton .

Lest We Forget

Join us on Remembrance Sunday, 8th November 2026, as we come together to remember and honour the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Services will be held in both Normanton and Altofts, with parades and wreath-laying taking place at each cenotaph. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects.

Normanton Service • 10:00am Parade meets at Normanton Town Hall
• 10:20am Parade departs
• 10:30am Service at the Cenotaph in Haw Hill Park

Altofts Service • 11:35am Parade meets at Cemetery Gates
• 11:38am Parade departs
• 11:40am Service at the Cenotaph at Altofts Cemetery

Together, we remember those who served and sacrificed. Lest We Forget. ❤️

🚲 FREE BIKES LOOKING FOR NEW HOMES!

Our Well Project Bike Library has a few bikes ready and waiting for their new owners!

Our Bike Library is here to help individuals and families who may struggle to afford a bike of their own.

Whether it's helping someone get to work, a young person get to school, giving children the chance to learn to ride, or allowing families to enjoy bike rides together, we want to make cycling accessible to everyone. 🚴‍♀️

Cycling is also a fantastic way to improve physical and mental wellbeing, get outdoors, build confidence and enjoy some fresh air!

💙 All our bikes are completely FREE! Donations are always welcome and help us keep the Bike Library running, repairing donated bikes and helping even more people in our community.

Please note:
Bike Library is run by volunteers usuallly on a Tuesday and Friday mornings between 9.30am and 12noon, but they do have holidays and time off.
Young people under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please bring ID showing your name and address. Photo ID is preferred.
🚲 Our bikes are intended for those who genuinely need them and may not otherwise be able to afford one.

We don't want good bikes sitting unused when they could be making a real difference to someone's life! So, if you or someone you know could benefit from a bike, please get in touch or pop along to our Bike Library.

👻🎃 WHAT A FRIGHTFULLY FANTASTIC NIGHT! 🎃👻

Last night, our The Well Youthy had the amazing opportunity to visit Yorkshire Scaregrounds, and what an experience it was!! 😱🤣

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone at Yorkshire Scaregrounds for kindly inviting our young people along and giving them a night to remember!

From the terrifying scares to the brilliant atmosphere, the whole experience was fantastic. The actors, staff and everyone involved were absolutely amazing and clearly put so much hard work into making it such a brilliant event! 👏

At The Well Project, we're passionate about giving young people opportunities to try new things, visit new places and enjoy experiences they might not otherwise get the chance to have. Not every young person finds these situations easy, and sometimes there are a few challenges along the way, but that's all part of learning, growing and making memories. 💙

We really can't thank Yorkshire Scaregrounds enough for their generosity, patience and for making this opportunity possible for our young people.

And if you're looking for something to do this Halloween, we can't recommend Yorkshire Scaregrounds highly enough! 👻

It's a fantastic night out, the scares are brilliant and the whole team are amazing. Get your tickets booked ASAP – you won't regret it! 🎟️🎃

💙 Fantastic news for The Well Youthy! 💙

We were proud to attend the Mayor of West Yorkshire, Tracy Brabin's Safer Communities Fund Awards this evening at Dean Clough in Halifax.

The funding grant will contribute to the running of our youth clubs in school holidays for the next 12 months. It will make a real difference helping us provide a safe, welcoming and fun place for local young people to spend time, make friends and enjoy activities during the school holiday periods.

It was great to see so many amazing organisations from across West Yorkshire being recognised for the work they do in their communities.

💙 And here's something you might not know! The Safer Communities Fund is made possible through money recovered from criminals by West Yorkshire Police under the Proceeds of Crime Act. It's great to see money taken from crime being put straight back into communities to make a positive difference!

A huge thank you to the Mayor of West Yorkshire and the Safer Communities Fund for supporting our young people and helping us make a difference! 💙
