🎄 THE CRAFTY CREW ARE GETTING CHRISTMAS READY! 🎨✨

Our fabulous Crafty Crew have been busy creating their very own Christmas Den ceramics with Ellen with plenty of creativity, craic and probably a wee bit of festive mischief along the way! 😂🎅

Next week it’s glazing time… when we find out if our masterpieces really are masterpieces! 👀🖌️✨

A big thank you to Lisa Kilcooley & Ards North for the funding that makes sessions like this possible. ❤️

Great company, new skills, plenty of laughs and something handmade to take home for Christmas that’s what Crafty Crew is all about! 🎄☕🎨

See below some images of todays activity 😀

Join us for a special evening celebrating women, heritage and storytelling at Portaferry Recreation Hub, 40 Shore Road, Portaferry (beside Portaferry Sailing Club) We are delighted to be hosting this event.

"Treasuring South Armagh Stories: Úna Walsh celebrates the life and work of one of South Armagh’s most respected historians, educators and storytellers.

The film is the first in a new series focussed on the women working in heritage in rural communities. Through interviews, new film and archive footage from Northern Ireland Screen’s Digital Film Archive, the documentary highlights Úna Walsh’s lifelong commitment to gathering and sharing the stories that shape South Armagh.

Created by women from the local community, the film reflects the importance of preserving lived experiences and passing local knowledge through generations."

Presented by Emma McAleer (Rural Community Network) and Brónagh McAtasney (Northern Ireland Screen), who will discuss the community engagement and filmmaking process that brought the project to life and how this might work in your area.

🍜🍷🍜🍷🍜🍷🍜🍷🍜🍷🍜🍷🍜🍷🍜🍷🍜🍷🍜🍷🍜🍷🍜🍷🍜🍷🍜🍷🍜🍷🍜

Why not make a night of it? Enjoy dinner before hand at various restaurants in Portaferry Area
