Are you ok with this???

The quarry dumped their dust on a very windy day sending it all over Comber and Strangford Lough. What a way to treat neighbours.

They again are seeking planning permission to expand. We have bats, owls, hares, badgers, buzzards and numerous pollinators that will suffer. Not to mention the waterways and local residents.

IRISH HARES BOXING 100m from where the quarry extension (if approved) will reach. You can see the existing quarry clearly in the background.

This is one of the fabulous things in jeopardy if the quarry keeps expanding!

The Ballystockart quarry is AGAIN seeking planning permission to expand. It has grown across the road and significantly changed the local landscape. This will remove more hedgerows,🥀 trees 🌳 and grass🌾 and have a direct consequence on the pollinators 🐝, bats🦇, owls🦉 , buzzards🪶and hares 🐇that live locally!

These are a few issues to consider:
- Loss of foraging for local pollinators. Damage to the environment.
- Noise and air pollution to the local community.
- Huge lorries down a small country road.
- Change in the landscape of a beautiful area.
- Countryside litter.
- Hares, bats, owls all living locally are being squeezed.

If you have a minute, the locals would be very appreciative of your OBJECTION!
