Two Auld Men, One Incredible Achievement!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Tonight, William and George proudly handed over an amazing £20,583.05 to Ruth Whiteside from Cancer Research UK — a truly phenomenal amount raised through their epic cycling challenge around the peninsula.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, sponsored, volunteered, supported, and cheered them on every mile of the way. This achievement belongs to the whole community.

The incredible support shown to William and George is a testament to how respected and loved they are, not only in Portavogie but far beyond.

As for retirement? Don't count on them hanging up the bikes anytime soon. Rumour has it another challenge may already be brewing…

🚴‍♂️💙 That’s a wrap for the Two Auld Men💙🚴‍♂️

100km completed. Challenge conquered. Memories made.

What started as a simple idea between two auld men became something truly special — a powerful show of community spirit, generosity, and determination, all in support of Cancer Research UK.

The support from across the Ards Peninsula and our own wee village has been absolutely overwhelming. Today’s atmosphere was nothing short of magical, and it’s a day we’ll all remember for a long time.

A huge thank you to the incredible admin team who helped turn an idea into reality, to every volunteer who gave up their time, and of course to our two auld legends who pedalled every mile for this worthy cause.

💙 Together, we can make a difference 💙
