🚴‍♂️💙 That’s a wrap for the Two Auld Men💙🚴‍♂️

100km completed. Challenge conquered. Memories made.

What started as a simple idea between two auld men became something truly special — a powerful show of community spirit, generosity, and determination, all in support of Cancer Research UK.

The support from across the Ards Peninsula and our own wee village has been absolutely overwhelming. Today’s atmosphere was nothing short of magical, and it’s a day we’ll all remember for a long time.

A huge thank you to the incredible admin team who helped turn an idea into reality, to every volunteer who gave up their time, and of course to our two auld legends who pedalled every mile for this worthy cause.

💙 Together, we can make a difference 💙

The legendary duo have just ticked off two more checkpoints on their epic journey:
📍 Spar Ballywalter 📍 Spar Ballyhalbert

Now it’s onward to their final destination — the beautiful fishing village of Portavogie! 🚴‍♂️ 🌊

The finish line is in sight, and the hardest miles are behind them. Just a few more pedals and they’ll be rolling home to a hero’s welcome.

🙌 Everyone is invited to join the last leg of the journey and give the team the welcome they deserve. Meet at the Anchor Carpark at approximately 15:40 then up to the school to celebrate and hear all about the day’s adventures. Quick pit stop at Mace Portavogie.

With EUROSPAR Millisle and Abbey Villa F.C. ticked off the list, the handlebars are now pointed firmly toward Ballywalter.
