🌍Happy World Environment Day!
Big environmental challenges can feel overwhelming, but positive change starts with simple actions.
At Bryson Recycling, we see first-hand how small actions can have a big impact. Every item recycled, every material reused, and every effort to reduce waste helps conserve valuable resources and keep materials in circulation for longer.
Today, why not choose one thing you can do to reduce waste?
✅ Recycle items correctly
✅ Choose reusable over single-use
✅ Repair instead of replace
✅ Donate unwanted items
✅ Avoid unnecessary packaging
Together, we can turn small actions into lasting change.

Holy Evangelist Primary School are the winners of the at this year’s West Belfast Partnership Board Environmental Awards.

The schools innovative “Litter-Free Lunch” campaign tackles lunchtime waste in a practical and engaging way. By empowering their Eco Council members as Lunch Monitors and rewarding pupils who make low waste choices in their packed lunches, the school has created meaningful, lasting behaviour change. This project has not only reduced single-use plastics, but has also inspired a culture of environmental awareness across the whole school community.

Congratulations and well done to everyone involved. 👏
