Garden Club News
Our next meeting is on Wednesday 15th April at 7.30pm in the Lesser Hall of Newtonmore Village Hall. One of our members, Lynne Munro, works with Abernethy School and the children grow wonderful produce in their polytunnel so she will be talking about “Gardening with Children.” There will also be the Club seed potato to collect for the Potato in a Pot competition.
There are 2 events in May – our seed and plant sale on 20th May, and our annual coach outing on Friday 29th May.
The outing will be to Scone Palace Garden Fair and the transport will cost £20 per person. The entry to the fair can be booked online (£16 if over 65, £I8.50 if you are lucky enough to be younger!) You can pay at the gate but booking in advance avoids the long queue. You can read more at

You can book your seat on the coach by bringing £20 on 15th April – it helps if we know numbers in advance and we have to pay for the coach in advance as well. We can arrange pickups at the local villages if you let us know.
The May plant sale relies on donations so pot up any self-seeded plants that you are digging up and bring along any surplus seedlings. What you have too much of may be just what someone else is looking for!
Scotlands National Garden Show, the Scone Palace Garden Fair will be the perfect day out for gardening enthusiasts and their families. Come and experience a line-up of top nurseries selling quality plants, gardening workshops, competitions, and more.
