We were delighted and genuinely humbled, that participants on our first training evaluated the programme so positively, with most aspects receiving an excellent rating. Their feedback has given us confidence that the combination of information, reflection, discussion and shared learning offers a meaningful experience, while also helping us identify ways we can continue to develop and improve.

Whether you are considering becoming an end of life doula, wanting to support others more confidently, or simply wishing to deepen your understanding of mortality, grief and compassionate care, this course offers a thoughtful and practical exploration of these important topics.

The course fee is £400 but there is an early bird rate of £375 if you book and pay on or before 24 August! We don't want cost to prevent someone from taking part. A small number of subsidised places are available if finances are tight.

We would be grateful if you could help spread the word to anyone who may be interested. Please see the flyer below for full details.

Devon Community Foundation is looking for ways to strengthen how they work with community organisations. As part of that commitment, they would value your feedback on their grant-making approach. Whether you've worked with Devon Community Foundation before or not, your views matter. Your feedback will help them understand what's working well, identify opportunities to improve and ensure they continue to develop their approach in partnership with the communities they serve. The survey takes around 10–15 minutes to complete. Complete the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DCFgrants2026

Help us review our grant-making process

Since June 2025, Devon Community Foundation has been operating a refreshed approach to grant making. This has included changes to how we identify, engage with and fund community organisations across Devon. (If you would like to learn more about our refreshed approach to grant making, you can do so here).

As part of our commitment to learning and continuous improvement, we are now reviewing this approach and would greatly value your feedback. We are keen to hear from a broad range of community organisations. Whether you know DCF well, have engaged with us occasionally, or have not previously worked with us at all, we would greatly value your views.

Your feedback will help us understand what is working well, identify any barriers or areas for improvement, and shape the future development of our grant-making approach.

The survey should take approximately 10–15 minutes to complete and will remain open until 28th August 2026.
