⚠️ PARENTS, PLEASE HAVE A WORD WITH YOUR TEENAGERS. ⚠️

I’ve just had to have a word with a group of teenagers down at the play park who were letting off fireworks. It’s bad enough at this time of year, but they were also walking around with a large black bag full of fireworks and leaving their empty fireworks and rubbish all over the place.

Doing this at 5pm, when children are still out playing , is just reckless and asking for something to happen.

🚨 SAFETY WARNING: Fireworks can cause serious burns, injuries and fires. Leaving them lying around is especially dangerous when young children are using are park , as a child could pick one up without realising what it is.

Teenagers should not be in possession of fireworks in the first place. Please speak to your children and make them aware of how serious and dangerous this is.

We all remember what happened our center a few years ago because of fireworks so let us all be safe over the Halloween season
Pictures shows what I lifted from the park

❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU ❤️

Friday night our volunteers organised a quiz night to raise much-needed funds for our youth club, and we were so grateful to raise a good bit of money for our young people.

We honestly cannot thank Johnny Murphy’s enough for letting us hold our quiz night, providing food to keep our brains thinking, and for Pat being our quizmaster. We also want to thank all the regulars at Johnny Murphy’s for joining in, supporting us and digging deep to help our youth clubs. Your support means more than you know. ❤️

We also want to say a special thank you to the family who couldn’t make it on the night but still reached out to donate money towards our fundraiser. That honestly meant so much to us and showed us that our young people and what we are trying to do for them are appreciated. ❤️

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who supported us last night. Every penny raised will go straight back into our youth clubs and, most importantly, our young

💙 Youth Club Update 💙

Unfortunately, the work on the centre has been pushed back, and we’re now looking at December before it’s finished. We know that feels like a long wait — especially when all the kids and volunteers are eager to get back in, have fun and get youth club back up and running! 🥰

The good news is we’re getting a brand-new centre, including our very own art and craft room 🎨 /hang out space , which we’re all so excited about!

In the meantime, we’re working hard to raise funds so we can get all the bits and pieces we need for the new art room, activities and supplies for the kids when we finally get back in.

We’re holding a fundraiser quiz at Johnny Murphy’s this Friday this 25th 🍻🧠, so please come along, support us and help us get our new youth club stocked and ready for the kids! 💙

Every bit of support makes a difference! 🥰

🎉 MEIGH ALL TOGETHER COMMUNITY FUNDAY 🎉

What a fantastic day we had today! ❤️

We would like to say a massive THANK YOU to absolutely everyone who helped make the Meigh All Together Community Funday such a success.

We are also incredibly proud that today’s event was sponsored by The National Lottery. 🍀❤️ A huge thank you to them and, of course, to all the people who play the National Lottery, whose support helps make community events like ours possible. 👏

A special thank you to all the local businesses who supported us and helped make the day possible. We really appreciate your generosity and support!!! 🥰

We also want to give our volunteers a very special mention. 👏❤️

So much hard work goes on behind the scenes that people don't always see. It isn't just the few hours on the day — there are weeks of organising, planning, preparing, setting up and sorting everything out before and after the event. We genuinely couldn't do it without each and every one of you, and we are so grateful for all the time, effort and hard work you put in. ❤️

And finally, a huge thank you to everyone who came along today to support us and enjoy the fun. It was fantastic to see so many people coming together, having fun and showing their support for our community and our young people. 🎉🥰

Thank you to everyone who played a part, big or small — we appreciate you all more than you know! ❤️👏

MEIGH ALL TOGETHER — THANK YOU! 🎉❤️
